Description
Named after the coronation of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee on the throne, these birds originate from England in 1897. Like other colors of Orpington, the Jubilee is known to be docile, family friendly, and make excellent broody mothers. These birds are cold hardy but can overheat in the hot months of summer. The color pattern on the Jubilee can take up to 18 months to show full coloration of their plumage. Chicks are orange to rustic brown.
