Description
This breed was initially known as “Indian River”. They are docile birds that are cold hardy and adaptive to the hotter temperatures around them. The Delaware can be semi-broody but typically break out well. They are single combed and mostly white with barred feathering around the neck, wing, and tail. Upon arrival Delaware babies can be weaker on average so we highly recommend using a vitamin supplement for this breed. Chicks are solid yellow sometimes showing dark grey/black quills in their wing. They also have yellow legs.
