Description
A true bantam, meaning there is no standard equivalent, Sebright are one of only a few chicken breeds to have identical feathering on both sexes. This heritage bird is flighty, non-broody, and prefers warm climates. Due to their size, they struggle in cold and damp environments. They originated in early 1800s Great Britain being bred to have clean gray legs and rose combs. Their wings hang low, pointing to the ground when they are at a full stance.
