Description
The New Hampshire Red was derived from selectively breeding the Rhode Island Red. They were bred for rapid growth, durability and early maturity. They are a semi-broody, dual-purpose bird. The New Hampshire is tolerant to all weather environments. They are docile and have assertive personalities. The chicks have a yellowish head with a lighter reddish-orange body.
