Description
The Sagitta was developed in Georgia in the early 2000s to be a hearty, dual purpose bird. They are all temperature weather hardy and handle confinement but do well as a free-range bird also. Sagitta are a cross between a Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red and Cornish Cross. They are a docile bird that still provide a good size broiler in a shorter time than most breeds.
