Derived from the Plymouth Rock strain, these birds were developed in the late 1800s Massachusetts. The Silver Penciled is the rarest coloring. This clean legged breed is docile, broody, and temperature adaptive. Dunlap Hatchery is one of the few places that sell the Silver Penciled Rock.
