Description
The Turken (Naked Neck), originated in Romania in the 1700s. Their naked neck makes them easier to pluck but are still an all-weather hardy bird and excellent forager. Their meat is tender and flavorful. They will take 4 to 6 months to get to butchering size. Birds come in various colors including red, brown, white, gray, and black.
